Quizzly IQ is a quiz. It has no account to sign up for, and it never asks for your name or phone number. Your answers and your score are kept in your own browser.
Joining the leaderboard is optional. At the end of the quiz you can add your score to a public top-50 list, either by signing in with Google or by typing a name and email. If you do, we store your name, your email and your score.
Two things happen with that. Your name appears publicly on the leaderboard as your first name and last initial only — never your full name, never your email. And we tell Meta that a sign-up happened, so the advertising we buy can be measured; your name and email are scrambled one way (SHA-256) before they leave us, so Meta can match them against an account it already has but cannot read them.
If you never join, none of that happens. Email us and we will remove you from the board and delete your details, or use the opt-out link and we will stop telling Meta anything about your visits.
We do record, for each visit: a random identifier stored in a cookie called
qz_vid, the pages you opened, your IP address and browser, and the
approximate location your internet provider reports for that IP (country, city,
region, postcode area). We do not know who you are from any of this.
This site is paid for by advertising. Google AdSense serves the ads and may use cookies to make them more relevant; you can review and change that at Google My Ad Center.
If you arrived from an ad on Facebook or Instagram, we tell Meta that the visit and the quiz steps happened, so the advertising we buy can be measured. That report carries the identifiers above in a one-way scrambled form, never your name or contact details — because we never have them.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Use
this link and we will stop sending anything to
Meta from your visits and switch the ads on this site to non-personalised. The
choice is stored in a cookie called qz_optout on this device.
We also honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically — if your browser sends it, no action is needed from you.
Clearing your cookies clears all of the above, including the opt-out.
We do not record your screen or your keystrokes on this site.
